Synopsis
Volver Volver Volver explores one man's regret as he returns home after his life has ended, and shows the ways in which family magic can make anything possible.
Playwright’s Bio
Leonard Madrid is native New Mexican. He has a BFA in Theatre from Eastern New Mexico University as well as a BA in Design for Performance and an MFA in Dramatic Writing from the University of New Mexico.
Leonard has three times received the Kennedy Center award for Latino Playwrights for his plays Tecolotito, Perla, and Aurora. Volver Volver Volver was the first play to be chosen for the Association for Theatre in Higher Education LatinoWorks program. Most recently he has received the Bravos Award for Excellence in Theatre from the Albuquerque Arts Alliance. Perla will have it's premiere this season at Teatro Vision in San Jose, CA.
